Race and ethnicity as social constructions; individual and collective racial and ethnic identities; racial and ethnic inequality; and resistance to oppression. Prerequisite: SOCI 101.
Enrollment Requirements
Grade of C (2.0) or higher in SOCI 101.
Class Notes
Class activities will occur online, with few exceptions. This class will take place "live" online using a synchronous meeting tool such as WebEx, Collaborate, Zoom or Skype. You will meet with your classmates and professor at regularly scheduled class times, able to interact in real time, just as you would in a face-to-face course.
